These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of all Services and Products operated via the Website www.moleculepub.com and its subdomains or through related email communication. They govern all services provided by Molecule Publishing House S.L., Calle Violeta Parra 45, 41940 Sevilla, Spain (“Molecule Publishing House “).

References to “Molecule Publishing House”, “we”, “us”, “our” throughout these Terms and Conditions mean Molecule Publishing House S.L.

References to “Customer”, “you” or “your” throughout these Terms and Conditions mean you as a user of Services and Products provided Molecule Publishing House S.L.

By accessing or using our Website, Services and Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our Website, Services and Products.

Any business terms by the Customer that diverge from these Terms and Conditions do not apply unless expressly confirmed by Molecule Publishing House in written form.

In case of a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and other terms or information provided by Molecule Publishing House, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

I- Services and products offered by Molecule Publishing House

Molecule Publishing House offers scientific publication through its journals on the Website (www.moleculepub.com) and editorial services described in Section II. Molecule Publishing House undertakes reasonable efforts to expand post-publication coverage within academic databases. Molecule Publishing House does not provide additional services beyond scientific publication, and the Customer acknowledges Molecule Publishing House’s limited control over journal rankings, citations, indexation or related matters.

II- Using and Purchasing of Services and Products of Molecule Publishing House

To order a service or a product through the Website, the Customer must register. Registration requires the Customer to be of full age and have full legal capacity. The Customer contracts publication and editorial services with Molecule Publishing House by submitting an original scientific article for evaluation and possible publication. Upon submission of a manuscript to Molecule Publishing House, a legal contract is established between the publisher and the customer. The customer authorizes the publisher to proceed with the manuscript for plagiarism checking and peer review.

The Customer shall not transfer or assign any rights under these Terms and Conditions to anyone.

The Customer has the right to withdraw their manuscript during peer-review evaluation. Once accepted, withdrawal is not allowed.

Molecule Publishing House reserves the right to reject a submitted manuscript at any stage of the evaluation process without the obligation to provide specific reasons, with both parties released from previous commitments. This discretionary approach aligns with the journal’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of academic and editorial integrity.

The Customer supports open-access publishing.

By using our Website, you agree that you will not use it:

    • in a manner that violates any applicable local or international law or regulation.
    • in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage or impair the Website.
    • to collect or store personal data about other users of the Website unless specifically authorized by such users.
    • to impersonate or attempt to impersonate Molecule Publishing House, any Molecule Publishing House employee, any user or any other person or entity.
    • for the purpose of exploiting, harming or attempting to exploit or harm other individuals.
    • to transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material, including any junk mail, chain letter, spam, bulk mail or similar solicitations.
    • to misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
    • through any automatic device or manual process to monitor or copy any of the content or for any other unauthorized purpose without the prior consent of Molecule Publishing House.
    • in any other manner that violates these Terms and Conditions.

III- Manuscript and Copyright Issues

Manuscripts must not be published elsewhere. Upon acceptance of the manuscript, Molecule Publishing House operates under the assumption that it is an original submission and has neither been published nor is under consideration elsewhere. The Customer warrants that the article does not infringe third-party rights. The Customer indemnifies Molecule Publishing House against any claims. For manuscripts with multiple authors, the corresponding authors, acting on behalf of all co-authors, confirm their unanimous agreement with the content of the manuscript.

Accepted articles a published within Molecule Publishing House’s journals are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. By choosing Molecule Publishing House for publication, the customer grants the publisher the right to publish the article under a CC BY 4.0 License. This license permits unrestricted use of the data, with the condition that proper credit is given to the original copyright holder.

IV- Use of Copyrighted Material

The submitting Customer (author) is responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions from the original copyright holders for any material included in their manuscript that requires such authorization. Molecule Publishing House assumes no responsibility for the use of copyrighted material by the Customer.

In the event of any third-party claims against Molecule Publishing House regarding the publication of a Customer’s article, the Customer commits to defending Molecule Publishing House against such claims, including financial losses or legal actions. The Customer acknowledges full responsibility for safeguarding Molecule Publishing House from any legal challenges arising from the use of copyrighted material in their manuscript.

 

V- Patent Issues

Submission of a manuscript requires prior filing of any patent applications.

 

VI- Publication of E-mail Addresses

Molecule Publishing House publishes open access, and therefore authors’ e-mail addresses will be visible to all visitors of the Website, including registered users and unregistered visitors. By submitting a manuscript to Molecule Publishing House, the Customer acknowledges and consents to the publication of their email address in connection with their article. For manuscripts with multiple authors, it is the responsibility of the Customer to inform all co-authors that their email addresses will be published. The Customer shall obtain the consent of co-authors for the publication of their email addresses.

VII- Terms of Payment

Molecule Publishing House currently does not impose any charges for article publication.

VIII- Contract Document

Molecule Publishing House does not provide a separate contract document. Customers can check services and article status through their personal accounts.

 

IX- Limitation of Liability

Molecule Publishing House is not liable for any damages, except for gross negligence or deliberate wrongdoing, or where liability cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Molecule Publishing House is not liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience you may experience due to the unavailability, withdrawal, corruption or loss of any content, material or other information or data from or on the Website.

While we actively monitor our Website to identify and rectify defects, you acknowledge and agree that we cannot guarantee that the Website or its content will be error-free, available at all times or free from viruses and defects. We shall have no liability for any loss or damage resulting from viruses, distributed denial-of-service attacks or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the Website or your download of any content from it or from any linked website.

Molecule Publishing House may provide links to external websites. Your decision to access these websites or links is voluntary. Molecule Publishing House is not liable for the content, advertising or materials found on these external sites or links.

 

X- Force Majeure

Molecule Publishing House shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control (such as, war, fire, explosion, pandemic, etc.). This provision applies to events that are unforeseeable, unavoidable and outside the reasonable control of Molecule Publishing House.

XII- Modifications to the Terms

Molecule Publishing House reserves the right to modify and update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, it shall not impact the validity of the remaining provisions. In such instances, the parties involved shall negotiate a valid replacement.

Molecule Publishing House reserves the right to modify, append, remove or temporarily or permanently cease the publication of sections of the website or the entire website without prior notice.

Please check these Terms and Conditions periodically for any modifications. Continued use implies acceptance.

 

XIII- Law

The Terms and Conditions are exclusively governed by the Spanish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, regardless of the customer’s location.
