MOLECULE PLAGIARISM POLICY
Molecule is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards integrity of its publications and takes plagiarism very seriously. We define plagiarism as the use of another person’s ideas, language, or work without giving proper credit or permission. To ensure that all published work is original and properly attributed, Molecule has established the following plagiarism policy.
PLAGIARISM CHECK
All manuscripts submitted to Molecule journals will be subjected to a plagiarism check using plagiarism detection software. All manuscripts submitted to Molecule journals will be subject to a plagiarism check using the plagiarism detection software iThanenticate.
AUTHORS OBLIGATIONS
Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism, including self- plagiarism, and has not been published elsewhere in any language or form.
Authors must properly cite and acknowledge all sources of information, ideas, and words that have contributed to their manuscript. Authors must also obtain permission to use any copyrighted material, including images, figures, and tables.
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, funding sources or otherwise, that may influence the integrity of their research.
By submitting a manuscript to a Molecule journal, authors agree to abide by this plagiarism policy and to cooperate fully with any plagiarism investigation.
PLAGIARISM CASES
Any suspected case of plagiarism will be investigated thoroughly. The editorial team will contact the corresponding author for clarification and request original sources to verify the originality of the submitted work. If the investigation confirms plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected, and the authors will be barred from submitting to any of Molecule journals for a minimum of 12 months.
In cases where plagiarism is detected in a published article, Molecule reserves the right to retract the article and inform the academic community of the retraction. The author(s) may also face sanctions, including barring from submitting to Molecule journals for a minimum of 24 months.
Molecule reserves the right to notify the author’s institution, funding agencies, and other relevant parties of any suspected cases of plagiarism.
