This recognition, compiled by Prof. John P.A. Ioannidis from Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, honors the most influential researchers across the globe, highlighting Prof. Dr. Jacob’s exceptional contributions to the scientific community.
The list honors the most influential scientists globally across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields, based on rigorous evaluation of their research performance and citation metrics. The ranking is determined based on six key criteria, including total citations (with distinctions between self-citations and external citations), the Hirsch H-index, and the Schreiber Hm-index, adjusted for co-authorship.
