[27 September 2024] –
International Journal of Formulation Science is proud to announce that five of its esteemed editorial board members have been featured in the prestigious “World’s Top 2% Scientists 2024” list. This recognition, compiled by Prof. John P.A. Ioannidis from Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier using data from the Scopus database, highlights the significant impact of these researchers’ contributions to the scientific community and their respective fields.
The five editors from IJFS recognized among the top 2% researchers in the world in 2024 are:
- Prof. Vitaliy Khutoryanskiy (Editor-in-Chief), University of Reading, United Kingdom.
- Prof. Joseph Keddie, University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
- Prof. Joshua Boateng, University of Greenwich, United Kingdom.
- Prof. Sarkyt E. Kudaibergenov, Institute of Polymer Materials and Technologies, Kazakhstan.
- Prof. Anthony A. Attama, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria.
The list honors the most influential scientists globally across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields, based on rigorous evaluation of their research performance and citation metrics. The ranking is determined based on six key criteria, including total citations (with distinctions between self-citations and external citations), the Hirsch H-index, and the Schreiber Hm-index, adjusted for co-authorship. In addition, it considers contributions as a sole, first, or lead author to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of a researcher’s impact.
International Journal of Formulation Science congratulates these distinguished editors on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to their continued contributions to the field.
